Rainbow Herbals' Sandalwood Hydrosol, 100mL
Pure, Food-Grade
Source: India
This sandalwood is from India. It is rare to obtain this, as a person needs to fly to India to obtain this pure product. Most sandalwood in the USA is not actually real, pure sandalwood. This is because sandalwood is not allowed to be exported out of the country. You have to physically fly to India, buy it, and bring it back, and even then, there are limitations to how much you can bring back. The fact that I have this pure, real product is very special!
Sandalwood was traditionally used as an incense during ritual work for enhancing meditation
The Egyptians used sandalwood for embalming
Sandalwood operates similarly to frankincense, which I also sell in my online store
It is beneficial to the sciatic nerves, acne, circulation (like frankincense), lymphatic system, nerves (like frankincense), and tuberculosis
It is effective at helping skin regeneration and helps with skin infections
It is extremely powerful at increasing oxygen around the pineal and pituitary glands
It calms, harmonizes, and balances emotions
Blends well with cypress, frankincense, lemon, myrrh, and ylang ylang.
(Note: I sell frankincense and lemon in my online store)
I personally use this hydrosol in my homemade facial toner, and I spray it on my face directly before my yoga, kriya, and mediation practices in the morning. I also use it on my sunburnt skin to aid healing more rapidly.
I have used this hydrosol in chocolates with my rose hydrosol to create an amazing and unique taste. (A recipe for this will be in my future dessert book, which will be released in fall of 2021)
